UFC Tips & Picks
Here at FightBets we’re passionate about UFC betting, so, for each fight we highlight our pick. Our picks are based on what we’re betting on - they’re not guaranteed winners and you may well lose money if you follow our advice. When we make our picks we’re looking at the following attributes:
- Value in the odds. For example, an underdog might have much larger odds - therefore although they are less likely to win, we think the larger odds are worth a bet. In this instance we are more likely to stake a lower amount.
- Clear favourite. If we think there’s a clear favourite with short odds we may bet knowing that we won’t win much but there’s a higher chance of returns
- Round betting/method of victory betting. Often you can get better odds if you bet on the round and/or method (KO/TKO/Submission) as well as the fighter. For example, McGregor by KO R1.
- Accumulators (also known as Parlays for our US readers) - more information on these below.
UFC Accumulators/Parlays
Depending on which side of the Atlantic you live you’ll either call this bet an Accumulator (UK) or a Parlay (USA) - both bets are the same. The way they work are:
- You select multiple bets. These can be head to head odds (e.g. McGregor to win) or they can be round/method/other markets (e.g. Masvidal to win by KO)
- The odds are then multiplied together. This means you can bet on multiple fights with one bet and also can potentially get some big returns. Accumulators/Parlays work great if you want to bet on an entire UFC card with one bet.
- An added bonus is that many bookmakers offer money back as a free bet if one leg of the accumulator lets you down.
